The Art of Intuition
For me, intuition has to find its source in prayer. The Hebrew word for prayer is "tefillah", from a root word which means "to judge oneself," meaning to say, to examine not only one's actions, but also one's beliefs. We can always surrender each day all our actions, thoughts, emotions, beliefs and even the dreams we interfered to the previous day, and ask for a wisdom to see them in a higher light that we can use for the following days.
Each day, we can ask God to help us be open to new views, to meet smart people, and to be able to hear more deeply what they have to share with us. As soon as we established contact with Elohim by means of our prayers, we learn how to correct ourselves so as to be filled with His Light.
Through prayers we become sensitive observers of experience, but we aren’t trying to predict or do some hoky poky divination . We are trying to look at our experience, path and journey, and introspect on it, and intuit on that. By doing this, we demonstrate that we can learn important things just by paying attention to every signs and messages around us.
As Proverbs 2:6-9 says:
For ADONAI gives wisdom; from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He stores up common sense for the upright, is a shield to those whose conduct is blameless, in order to guard the courses of justice and preserve the way of those faithful to him. Then you will understand righteousness, justice, fairness and every good path.
